This book is handcrafted on the island Bali. The paper is created from recycled bamboo fibers. The covers are made from indigenous plants and trees from Indonesia. These materials may include leaves from the Butterfly leaf daun kupu kupu, the bark of the Frn tree (pakis lemputu), bean pods (lontoro) nutshells (panggi), papaya fibers the veins of the plam leaf (lidi) or other native species. Local artisant then assemble them for export.
