We Decided on Forever: Part 2- Fortunately, I found you

We Decided on Forever: Part 2- Fortunately, I found you

Last week we kicked off the week with part 1 of our engagement season proposal tip.  This weeks proposal tip is fun and interesting, an East meets West theme.

Being able to tell someone’s future is a talent, not all of us have.  What if you were given that ability for just one day?  That would be great wouldn’t it.  Exactly our thoughts.  Our second proposal idea takes you to the sights and smell of a bustling Chinese restaurant, where good fortunes are always given to you after a meal there.  Inside each fortune cookie awaits a message of hope, prosperity and good health.  For one day you can be the bearer of good news.

We have our Personalized Fortune Cookie that is nickel plated and made to resemble a real fortune cookie.  Like the real cookie, it can open up.  Inside you can put in your little note or trinket.  For your proposal, this silver cookie fits an engagement ring perfectly.  Have the proposal date etched on the cookie and be ready to pop the question to her.

Set the proposal scene at a Chinese restaurant.  Order all her favorite dishes and invite friends and family along for the proposal.  Make sure to give the cookie to the waiter so at the end of the meal he/she can bring out the desert which will be the Personalized Silver Fortune Cookie.  Tucked inside will be a note that reads. “Fortunately I found you, Will You Marry Me?”  The look of surprise on her will be priceless.  If you want to make the proposal more extravagant, you can set the scene during Chinese New Year where there is many festivals that are being held in some major cities.  Fireworks and entertainment will add a festive ambiance to your proposal.

Make sure to include your friends and family members in the proposal.  With the excitement and planning going on you can forget to capture this big day.  Hire a professional “Proposal Expert” to help you capture this moment or have a friend or family member photograph and videotape the proposal.

Keep an eye out for next week’s post for our third part wedding proposal idea.
