These are exactly what we were looking for as gifts for our top clients. The only thing is that we ordered the Red take out boxes and we received the clear boxes. Not a big deal and they look great but just thought you should know that the wrong take out boxes were shipped with the items.

I wanted to surprise my guests for my 70 birthday party which was held in a Polynesian/Chinese Restaurant with something special and adding what they meant to me. I searched for weeks for the perfect gift. I stumbled on the Hanson Ellis's website and there was THE perfect gift or was it? I called and spoke with Tracy and explained that I had 18 guests and wouldn't it be wonderful if I could give them a "fortune cookie" each engraved with their name on it and a little personal note from me tucked inside She was wonderful! I never thought I would be able to get all of this done in one place. I was prepared for Tracy to tell me I would have to get the engraving, note inside, etc separately. When she told me it was no problem that they can do it. I couldn't believe my ears! All I had to do was to fax over what I wanted on the front of the cookie and inside of each "cookie". She also gave me suggestions, etc. IT WAS PERFECT! I also ordered the "take out box" with a red ribbon to match my outfit. I was thinking that when it arrived, even though Tracy said they would put it all together, I would have to open each "cookie" and put the message inside and then in the boxes . Was I wrong! They did everything and it arrived picture perfect. My family & friends were stunned and after nearly 3 weeks I am still getting calls & repeat calls telling me what a wonderful gift - even though it was my birthday. It was a win win for everyone. I am still on Cloud 9. I cannot thank Hanson Ellis and especially Tracy for the wonderful job. I look forward to ordering from them again and recommend them every time I can. Did I mention that the price was great as well?

I purchased the silver fortune cookie for a couple's 25th or "silver" anniversary--it was gorgeous and perfect. I had it engraved on the outside and also put a personalized fortune inside. LOVELY!

A gift for my daughters 10th birthday

My older daughter just turned 10 yesterday. I wanted to give her something cute and meaningful. I remembered a few months back I had been helping a friend search for wedding favors and saw little fortune cookie boxes. I had my daughter's name and birthdate engraved on the back and requested purple (her favorite color) for the ribbon color on the box. when it came, I hand wrote a "fortune" for her on the little strip of paper that came inside. She loves it!!! its very cute and shiny. My parents were impressed by what a nice little, well made box the cookie is and complimented her on it. I will be buying one as a gift for my other daughter when she turns 5 in october.

A great gift and was a really good size. Looked amazing and I was more than happy with this item and would recommend this to all. Probably the only thing I found is that the engraving is a bit hard to see depending on the light. So maybe it could be done in way that can be more easily seen. But still amazing :-)
